You can listen to the new song here: GRACE ALONE .
I thought it was a good way to begin Reformation Day weekend.
These first ten songs have given me a chance to take a fresh look at some familiar biblical themes. Today’s release brings those reflections together, drawing from Romans 1–3 and 6–8, Ephesians 1–3, and 1 John 5:11–13. We confront our sin, run out of excuses, and discover that our hope rests in what Christ has done for us. Grace alone. That’s good news worth singing about.
Looking ahead, the next 20 songs will cover a wider range of genres and themes. Beginning November 10, I’m adding something I’m calling “Winter Tune Tues”—seasonal vibes, slower songs, and some chill sounds for the colder months. New Music Fridays will continue, too, with some fun southern rock and country additions along the way.
One surprise has been the response on SoundCloud: 165,000 all-time listens, with an average of almost 10,000 listens a month lately. Spotify has been a much slower start, but we’ll keep putting the music out there and watching it grow. I’m grateful for every person who takes the time to listen.
Through all of it, my purpose remains the same: to add some positive messaging to a part of our culture that often tends to go dark. There’s room for honest songs about struggle, songs about faith and grace, and songs that simply give us a reason to smile.
If one person enjoys something I’ve made and it helps them along the way, I’m satisfied. My hope is that you’ll find something here that encourages you, too.
Thanks for listening—and for being part of Jayopsis.
